Afrojack Dominates Billboard Top 100

by Chloe
Afrojack, Beyonce, Billboard Top 100, Busta Rhymes, Chris Brown, Eva Simons, Give Me Everything, Lil Wayne, Look at Me Now, Ne-Yo, pitbull, Run the World, Take Over Control

It seems like Afrojack just can’t stay out of the headlines right now, and it’s no surprise as to why. This extremely gifted producer/dj is absolutely killing it right now and making mincemeat out of the competition in the process. His unique and infectious house style has gone full-on mainstream.

The Dutch born artist has gained the respect of fans and fellow producers alike, as his music continues to change the electronic music landscape with each new track he comes up with. Afrojack has taken his game to a new level, crossing over into pop, hip hop and R&B music, where he seems to have the golden touch when it comes to producing monster tracks. Radio listeners can’t seem to get enough. And it all shows with the impression that he has left on Billboard’s Top 100 chart, where he currently has four tracks on the prestigious list.

Currently holding down the #2 spot, ‘Give Me Everything’ feat. Pitbull & Ne-Yo, appears to be the summer anthem of 2011. We should expect to hear this song everywhere for the next 6 months at least. Next up, you find Afrojack’s production work a little ways down the list at #26, where the current hip-hop banger, ‘Look at Me Now’ feat. Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and Busta Rhymes, is still holding strong. Also, his smash hit with Beyoncé, ‘Run the World’, is still making its presence known and holding down the #82 slot, while his own track featuring hot vocals from Eva Simons, ‘Take Over Control’, stays in the Top 100 for yet another week, holding on to the 88th spot.

It’s clear that this summer has been huge for Afrojack, and we can only hope that he finishes out the year with a few more monsters to keep our appetites for killer tracks satisfied. We will continue to keep our eyes on the charts, and until we get that next big single from Afrojack, you can rock out to these 4 tracks below…

You can catch the musical mastermind himself, when he head overs of to Vegas on Aug. 3rd to party at Surrender Nightclub. Grab tickets here.
