25 artists later, and last but certainly not least, DJ Eye is our final Identity Fest featured artist!
In just two days, DJ Eye will be joining a whole slew of famed electronic artists as they make history with the first ever Identity Festival tour. And while we’ve been telling you to grab tickets for the last couple months, you really don’t have much time left, so get them NOW!
It seems as though DJ Eye, AKA Jamie Iovine, wants to remain a little enigmatic, because there really isn’t too much information about his past or his career floating around on the internet. According to the man himself, he hails from “Parts Unknown”, and is as allusive as a “being” whose arrival on earth is a mystery.
However, what we do know, is that the Eye was born and raised on the sounds of music. And after deciding to pursue his musical interests rather than his father’s footsteps, he did what he could to pave his own path. He followed DJ AM from gig to gig, learning about the industry and grabbing little bits of inspiration. He’s even said that he’s been significantly influenced by Calvin Harris, Will.I.Am., Lil Jon, Diplo, and Daft Punk.
And now, he’s continuing to master his craft, putting his own twist on music, and bringing to the clubs fresh new electronic experiences. He’s certainly got the energy and the talent to get people pumped!
