EDM seemed to be everywhere in 2011, making it incredibly difficult to single out just one favorite moment. But when I think about truly amazing moments from the past year, the one that keeps coming to mind is Dada Life @ Tryst Nightclub on June 23rd, aka “EDC Eve”. As anyone who was there can attest to, the energy in Vegas that weekend was INSANE and with the crazy Swedes on the decks, the party was BANANAS – literally.
At the time the one song I just couldn’t get out of my head was “White Noise/Red Meat”, which also happened to be one of the hottest electro house songs at the moment, so you can imagine how the place erupted when they dropped that bomb on the crowd. The incredible positive energy that Dada brings to the table along with the overwhelming excitement for the first ever EDC Las Vegas had the place in an absolute frenzy. People were running around, jumping, singing, high-fiving strangers – it was ridiculous.
2011 was a huge year for Dada Life who seemed to be just about everywhere. Their never-ending list of electro house bangers and their overall crazy, fun-loving nature has made them super popular and a definite Wantickets favorite. In fact, Wantickets could be found at a lot of their shows in 2011 (see some of our footage below) and we hope to continue that in 2012!
Nobody throws a party like Wynn/Encore whose properties include Tryst, XS and Surrender, all of which have been major contributors to EDM’s dominance in Vegas over the past year. Wantickets works closely with all of the city’s hottest clubs so be on the lookout for the Wantickets “W” and more big events in 2012! EDM & Vegas is a match made in heaven and we’ve really only just scratched the surface!
