Michael Woods puts the brakes on (and we mean literally) his classic sound with his latest release, “Warrior.” What builds into a momentous, sweeping melody characteristic of Woods, is suddenly interrupted by jerky scratches and a thumping bassline. We see this track making it into the festival circuit this spring/summer; it has the potential to be a dancefloor destroyer, as it’s name might imply.
