Sydney Blu has been all over the world lately, proving herself as one of the top female electronic DJ/producers. We got the chance to catch up with Sydney and ask her a few questions. Get a little more familiar with her below!

What Software/Hardware do you prefer or recommend to new Djs /Producers?

I recommend Ableton live. It is the most user friendly program and i found it easiest to learn on. You can do more with the program from writing music to playing Live. I also make my mixes in Ableton. It’s a great program for any DJ or producer starting out.

Favorite live show moment in the last 6 months?

When i played for 25 thousand people at Rogers Stadium in Toronto with deadmau5. My entire family came and it was definitely the biggest crowd i had ever played for.

What’s you favorite track at the moment?

If you could work with one artist who would it be?

Madonna. Loved her since i was a kid and very inspired by her as a female artist.

Whats something people might not know about you?

I love to exercise and do Yoga as much as possible. Its hard on the road but i try to fit it in.
