Last Saturday we got to see Calvin Harris at XS, and the place just keeps getting CRAZIER AND CRAZIER. Resident DJ Nilsson got things started and had people going nuts on the dance floor early. XS has got to be the only place where the party really starts before the headliner even goes on! By the time Calvin took his place behind the decks the place was PACKED, inside and out.
Let’s face it everyone likes Calvin Harris. From the hardcore EDM fan, to the casual fan and even the non-fan – anyone can appreciate his music because not only is it catchy, it’s good. He has a way of playing all of his own hits (and there are a lot) while still keeping things fresh. Another night, another sick set which included Calvin classics “You Used to Hold Me” and “Flashback”, chart-toppers “We Found Love” and “Feel So Close”, sick mashups like “Around the World/Toulouse” and “Save the World/Generation 303″ – we could go on forever.
The crowd, the music and the venue itself all create an amazing experience that you really can’t get anywhere else in Vegas. As far as successful nights go, XS pretty much bats 1.000. *IF YOU HAVE A BAD TIME AT XS LAS VEGAS YOU ARE NOT A FUN PERSON*
