The Freaks of Nature Tour. The SHM break up. DJ feuds and controversies. EDC New York AND Las Vegas. Tomorrowland. Pryda’s return to the states. These are just a few things that come to mind when we look back on the summer, and suffice it to say, it’s been one of the best and craziest to date. In honor of this record-breaking summer coming to an end, we’ve put together a list of our favorites — the music that summarizes our past couple of months and the memories we’ve made along the way. JEROME — Radio INK – Physical (GLOVES remix)
I first heard this track a while back, and listening to it now is just as catchy and refreshing as it was upon my first listen. If only LA summers were as timeless and immutable as “Physical”, but alas, they’re not. Ah well, I’ll drink to summer’s departure this LDW, I suppose, it’s getting too hot anyway.
RUSSELL — Kaskade vs. Qulinez – Stars Troll
Takes me back to EDC Vegas and Freaks of Nature at Staples Center. It was a great summer, thanks Kaskade!
VANESSA — Viceroy – Chase Us Around feat. Madi Diaz
Viceroy’s motto is “Summertime, all the time” so this song is exactly what I want to listen to during the summer months. Go blast Chase Us Around and you’ll know what I’m talking about.
BEN — Delta Heavy x SW4 2012 Mix
Summer is over but that doesn’t mean the bass is going to stop dropping any time soon. Check out this fat mix from Delta Heavy which includes some of the bigger tracks to drop this summer.
