After much anticipation, French electronic musician, Madeon released the video for his track “The City.” The song premiered on BBC Radio 1 in late August, and after a number of teasers the full video is finally available. The upbeat synths set the stage in an abandoned warehouse where a damsel in distress is being held hostage. The electropop sound of the track compliments the colorful scene set up by rebel teens using powdered paints as ammo. The coup de grace is the all out paint war that ensues in the streets of the abandoned city, reminiscent of what would be seen at a 5K Color Run. This song will undoubtedly make you get up and dance, it may even inspire more paint wars. It is definitely worth the watch!
