John Dahlback’s new song “Sing That” has been his most recent step since releasing his album Demure , back in August. The Swedish-born house DJ/producer had put together Demure as a project, but it was not intended for dancing, but simply for listening purposes. Though the album was a hit, it wasn’t intended to be. The whole album has a calming effect to it, with songs to drive to, or to lull you to sleep with good thoughts. Perhaps Dahlback missed making music that makes us dance, because withinweeks he has released “Sing That,” a catchy beat that will get you tapping your toes in no time. Starting off with a growing clap, the song accelerates into a louder, deeper, faster sound that immediately drops to a cleverly put together funky sound that will get you dancing before you know it. Dahlback has proven himself in the past, and he does it again with this track.
