Recently sliding into a top 10 spot on Beatport, Nicky Romero and Calvin Harris’ original mix of “Iron” has become a hot track to remix. Two of the remixes are from House DJ, Dyro and Electro/House producer, Tony Romera. Dyro recently exploded onto the EDM scene and has already been marked a DJ to be on the lookout for, receiving acclaim from DJ/producers such as Afrojack, David Guetta, Fedde Le Grand, Nicky Romero and Swanky Tunes. Giving the remix treatments to tracks from Hardwell & Dannic, R3hab and Katy Perry, Dyro unabashedly takes on “Iron.” His mix preserves the vocals from the original track, but otherwise completely changes the vibe of the song by adding in a new intro and synth-infused, grinding bass, that the artist is known for. Even though Dyro’s bass has been described as aggressive, this track still manages to be a dance hit. This DJ/producer is definitely a name you are going to want to remember. Hailing from France, Tony Romera is another up and coming DJ/producer. His remix is also incredibly unique. Romera intersperses the original vocals with a amped-up House beat, and skews the original melody to make it his own sound. His remix also features an drum sequence build up that drops into an original sick beat. This song is definitely worth the listen and should excite you for future mixes from Romera.
