Wantickets is excited to announce we now have tickets for Exchange LA! The Downtown LA venue recently began their newest venture Insomniac Awakening Fridays. Each Friday, Exchange LA highlights trance and progressive artists and this week the two featured DJ/producers were Audien and BT.
Nate Rathbun, better known as Audien, is a 19-year-old up and coming DJ with a lot of promise in the EDM world. His set featured remixes from DJs including, Zedd and Matthew Koma, and Morgan Page. Audien also featured the brand new remix “Let Eventide,” which is a mashup of his song “Eventide” and Tritonal’s mix “Let Solitude.” Audien really got the crowd moving with his high energy set and light show, proving that despite his young age, this DJ has a lot to offer his audience. To check out Audien’s music, check out his Soundcloud.
The crowd really got going when BT took the stage. From the second the Grammy-nominated DJ/producer stepped on stage, the audience was hooked. His set was powerful from beginning to end. BT’s performance included his mix of “In The Air” with Angela McClusky, Sultan & Ned Shepard, and Morgan Page, Zedd’s single “Spectrum” ft. Matthew Koma, and his newest mix “This Must Be The Love” with Arty featuring Nadia Ali. “Pressure” by Nadia Ali, Starkillers and Alex Kenji, and Tiesto’s “Maximal Crazy” were also worked into his set. Given the smaller venue, Brian Wayne Transeau really connected with his audience, at one point, even pointing down to a fan who was holding a sign wishing him a happy birthday and thanking her. His light show coupled with confetti and fog blasts gave everyone in attendance an unique experience that will not be forgotten. To hear more from BT, check out his Soundcloud.
These two DJs complimented each other’s styles very well, and had the crowd on their feet the entire show. For those in the audience unfamiliar with BT and Audien, they undoubtedly imprinted their sounds in their minds and made fans of all in attendance. Be sure to check out photos from the event below!
