London based producers Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman, known together as Dusky were last week’s featured artists on the Essential Mix. Bringing a solid house sound that has been tapped for remixes of Above & Beyond, Cloud 9 and Hot Chip, Dusky released their debut album Stick By This on Anjunadeep in 2011, and have been making their mark in the DJ community with their innovative productions with influences from classical to jazz to avant-garde electronica. The duo explains that their performances consist of a back 2 back set where they juggle both of their styles together into an impressive, deep, and groovy set that comes together perfectly for a set you can listen to while sitting back and relaxing, or going out into the night.
