In its thirteenth year, Cocoon is the largest and longest running party in Ibiza. Throughout these thirteen years, the magic island has blossomed and transformed into the center for dance music and crazy parties. The brainchild behind Cocoon is German techno producer/DJ Sven Vath, who’s known for his underground techno. This summer’s Cocoon party consisted of a lineup featuring legends like Richie Hawtin and Chris Liebing, as well as younger artists such as Seth Troxler and Maya Jane Coles.
Fresh from the Cocoon closing party, Sven has released an after-movie to recap Ibiza this past summer. Featuring some of the biggest starts in techno — Loco Dice and Ricardo Villalobos, this video is the perfect way to recapture and experience the magic. Now that summer has ended, many clubs in Ibiza have closed their doors til next season, but for those who missed the Cocoon party, you’re in luck! Sven is taking his Cocoon party on the road, and with 17 dates announced, including New York and Miami, this is a must-go-to event for those unable to visit Ibiza this summer.
