So let’s talk about things that wouldn’t usually go together… how about Disney and two of the loudest, craziest names in bass music? Well sometimes the best things are the ones you least expect, and this is absolutely the case when drum and bass gods Noisia released their take on Skrillex‘s track ‘Bug Hunt’, produced in a groundbreaking collaboration with Disney for their upcoming movie, Wreck-It Ralph.
In ‘Bug Hunt‘, which ties into the upcoming video game themed movie’s “shooter” game, Skrillex shows off a different side of his crazy bass brand of “dubstep”, this time showcasing intricate riffs and video-game 8-bit sounds. When Noisia got their hands on the track, they sent it into a high-energy disco territory in a unique spin-off from their heavy drum and bass. Its a perfect journey of dark nu-disco with heavy wobbles and womps interjected throughout. Honestly, it doesn’t even matter if this was made for a Disney movie, this track is an undeniable banger.
