Santa Barbara based producer Seven Lions grabbed the attention of everyone across genres from trance to dubstep with his recent Days To Come EP on OWSLA that came out earlier this year. His dark, bass heavy and dubstep-influenced take on trance classics that he released over Soundcloud set the tone for a completely new sound that blends all the best elements of two styles that are often seen in such conflict. It’s a sound all his own, and he continues to set the bar higher and higher with everything we see from him.
His remix of Delerium takes on the classic trance gods known for their haunting track and worldwide hit “Silence” featuring Sarah McLachlan, one of the most popular trance tracks of all time. Taking a single off of his newest album Music Box Opera, Seven Lions breathes a dark dub vibe into the ethereal track “Days Turn Into Nights”, and the result is yet another genre-bending piece of exceptional music.
