ACtive Sessions is an all-new podcast from French producer Arno Cost. His debut episode, released today, features selections from Alesso, Avicii, and Norman Doray, whom he collaborated with on last year’s Mixmash banger “Trilogy.” The hour-long mix begins with a twinkling edit of Daft Punk’s “One More Time” from the producer himself and is followed by a heavy mash-up of DubVision‘s “Redux” and Adrian Lux favorite “Teenage Crime.” Arno also selects his first “Track of the Show.” This time around, Norman Doray’s aggressive banger “Troublemaker” earns the glory. Arno then proceeds to drop his weekly “Classic Track of the Show” – a eclectic house delight titled “2 Million Ways” from C-Mos. It’s a solid breakthrough installment of the bi-weekly series and I’m already looking forward to the energetic follow-up. Listen on Soundcloud below. If you’re familiar with Adrian Lux‘s work you’re no stranger to high-powered tracks with carrying big-room presence that resonates with you long after those four minutes are up. “Damaged” is a gorgeously produced new track adorned with an elegant female vocal. According to Adrian, this one’s still in progress – so fans can expect more to “Damaged” as well as the reveal of more new album cuts very soon.

Yesterday we shared Ken Loi’s sick new remix of “Scream” by Usher. Ken is clearly on a roll, because he’s also remixed “Angels” by Adrian Lux and the tune is absolutely marvelous! The SF producer created a different uplifting feeling with this remix, and added a very melodic and exciting build up. Hopefully we’ll start to hear this great remix on dance-floors very soon.
