Like his partners-in-crime Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell, Steve has firmly established himself as one of the most highly sought-after DJs in the world, having produced such house anthems like “Be”, “KNAS”, and his remix with AN21 & Max Vangeli of Pendulum‘s “The Island”.   He’s also known for spearheading Size Records, which has released hugely successful singles from EDM hitmakers like Tim Mason, Third Party, and Nari & Milani, to name a few.

Oh yeah, Steve’s been dropping some nasty sets lately, too!  We saw him bring the RAGE at the Hollywood Palladium earlier this month and in Vegas this past MDW with a ton of amazing new songs, so we’re pretty sure he’ll do the same at Amnesia also.

One-third of the house-music-making supergroup Swedish House Mafia, Sebastian Ingrosso has soared in popularity as of late thanks to his latest single with fellow Swede Alesso entitled “Calling”, which EDM fans have thoroughly enjoyed ever since Pete Tong first played it during his weekly radio show in August of last year (no joke, we checked).  However, Sebastian’s been putting out other sweet tunes of his own besides “Calling” for quite some time now, some of which include “Kidsos”, which beautifully samples MGMT‘s “Kids”; “Meich”, a killer collab with Dirty South; and “Together”, an essential house anthem composed alongside SHM member Axwell.

The same passion that drives Sebastian Ingrosso to make great house music like the aforementioned songs can be seen all throughout his live performance.  Though we’ve lost count of how many times we’ve seen him live, we know for a fact that every time he takes the stage, he gets the crowd pumped with sick song selection and his stage presence, standing on the decks and commanding the crowd to put their hands up in the air.  Basically, he KILLS IT every time.

It’s been crackin like no other at Amnesia Miami lately — we received confirmation that Wolfgang Gartner and Tommy Trash absolutely smashed the place a few weeks ago with their amazing live sets — and this coming weekend, Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th, to be exact, will be no different.  New school will clash with the old, as up-and-comer Otto Knows will rock the Amnesia decks on the 18th, followed by seasoned veteran Joachim Garraud on the 19th, making for a pair of shows you won’t want to miss!

Sweden has taken the EDM world by storm, with acts like Swedish House Mafia, Alesso, and Avicii creating insanely dope house tracks to rage to, and judging from the massive reception generated from his smash debut single “Million Voices”, Otto Knows, the newest signee under Sebastian Ingrosso’s Refune label, undoubtedly represents the next wave of sick Swedish EDM producers.  We were lucky enough to catch Otto open for Ingrosso during Miami Music Week this past March, and man did he get the crowd amped up with his opening set!  It’s safe to say, then, that even though he’s relatively new to the EDM scene, you’ll have your drink(s) up in the air come the 18th.  And in case you haven’t heard it yet, listen to “Million Voices” below:

Joachim Garraud, on the other hand, has mastered the art of live EDM performance over his decades-long DJ career.  Unlike most DJ’s, Garraud remixes on the fly during his live sets, and also combines specially-made visual imagery with live keyboard play to create a one-of-a-kind show.  Given that Amnesia is the Frenchman’s last stop on his current U.S. tour, we know he’s gonna go out with a bang and take your Saturday night to the next level!  If you’re still on the fence, check out this vid of him smashing Amnesia late last year:

First off, this guy knows how to produce some f#cking sick ass house music, excuse my french. His songs – “The End”, “Future Folk”, and “Cascade” to name a few — are  straight BANGERS (w/ a capital everything), and have gotten praise from many of the biggest DJs in the EDM scene right now.  As a testament to his talents, it’s seemingly gotten to the point where every big-name DJ spins at least one of his original songs or remixes!  Secondly, the Australian-born DJ brings tons of energy to his live performances.  We’ve been fortunate enough to see him spin in person several times, and the one thing we remember most about seeing him, besides his music, is how his persistent, head-bobbing stage presence ignites the crowd all throughout his sets.
