We have Europe to thank for a flock of amazing artists who have toured here over the years and contributed to the rise of EDM in America, but it’s also important to remember all the incredible talent on our own shores. Now in it’s 7th year, the DJ Times-sponsored “America’s Best DJ” Competition  has returned with a three-month-long promotion designed to recognize to our own DJ elite. Fans are asked to vote for the best/their favorite American DJs in the poll – with the winner being revealed at a special ceremony at Marquee Nightclub on October 7th. Last year Kaskade took home the top honor, but there are definitely a host of up & coming EDM artists who are ready and willing to steal his title.

Running simultaneously during the voting period is the 5th annual America’s Best DJ Tour, which will make 20 stops across the United States. The tour kicked off at Detroit’s Movement Festival over MDW and will continue at select dates across the country throughout the summer.
