SAVOY is back again with their third EP within one year and a follow up to “Supertrail” and “Personal Legend”. This EP is a step away from the rat-race of who has the biggest drop in the current swarm of EDM tracks lacking emotion and a listenable shelf life. While known for dabbling in almost every sub-genre of EDM, “Three Against Nature” goes back to SAVOY’s roots of using live instrumentation, their rock and disco influence, and a focus on melody and harmony. The focus of this EP was to make something that is both listenable at home as well as energetic in a live setting without being constrained to the current norm of EDM arrangement, “breakdown” and “hands up.” “Three Against Nature” puts the funk and the groove back into dance music and will make people move with more than just their fists.

SAVOY will be incorporating the new EP into their live set as they finish the second leg of their critically acclaimed LIVE with LASERS Tour, featuring ILDA first place award winning laser jockey, Eliav Kadosh. The tour is set to start May 16th in Costa Mesa, hitting four major music festivals along the way.

There’s no such thing as too many lasers. That seems to be the mantra that Savoy’s Live With Lazers tour is based on. Just as part two of the tour is kicking off in Dallas, the trio has released a video to remind the world just how right their thinking is. Savoy and Bright Lights have teamed up to whip up a killer electro track. While “I Dare You” starts off with big synths and Bright Light’s beautiful lyrics it quickly drops into an electro banger with a heavy grinding bass line. For now only a preview is up on Soundcloud. Well 2 years later, Heather Bright, the vocalist behind this and Porter Robinson‘s “Language” has re-established herself as a whimsical character of Bright Lights and offered up vocals once again for Zedd’s “Follow You Down” as well as Savoy‘s “We Are The Sun“. But that’s not where the story ends, Bright Lights have begun to take on remix duties of their own, starting off with a take on one of Heather’s first big tracks with Zedd that sparked her career.

The result is a bright, electro-led bouncy house remix that is overflowing with nostalgia and uplifting energy that’s undeniably enjoyable and surely will put a smile on any Zedd fan’s face. You can hear all the influences of previous projects Heather Bright has worked on, with source material from Zedd, intricate and uplifting production that Porter Robinson embodies, and a high-energy heavy beat that Savoy would blast lasers to all night.

The music video channels that sci-fi spirit following the adventures of Heather Bright as she crash-lands in a mysterious desert, persued by a Dark Witch who sends a team of tribal warriors to capture the lost space explorer. She fights off the warriors and finally reaches her destination, where she must make the ultimate sacrifice to unleash the otherworldly power within her.
