Wolfgang Gartner ft. Medina – Overdose (Preview)

Wolfgang Gartner is back in classic form with “Overdose.” The song has an understated electro house vibe that is very reminiscent of “Undertaker.” It has some energy to it, but is actually very soothing to listen to. The drops are not massive, but still really fun for dancing. This understated vibe is only added to by Medina’s vocals. Each softly sung syllable is allowed to echo for a few beats before fading away, giving the track a very surreal feeling. By the end of the preview you will be wondering when the entire track will be released. Unfortunately we are in the dark with regards to that as well.

I must say that personally, I was definitely way more stoked on the teaser for this track last week than any other teaser I can remember recently (that wasn’t Skrillex). Not only because it was annoyingly short, but because Zedd has been garnering such a huge buzz lately among the EDM community—I’ve been hearing his name everywhere, not to mention that a little birdie warned me that his next release was going to be something epic…and sure enough…it’s nothing less. So here it is, Zedd‘s ‘Slam The Door,’ featuring an insane build-up, some heavy-ass synths and a priceless vocal sample, which sounds like the recipe for a banger to me! I can guarantee that Play button will get raped over after your first listen…

Zedd is seriously about to BLOW UP (not that he hasn’t already)…So if I were anywhere near Scottsdale, AZ on Friday 1/13 I would kick myself in the head if I didn’t grab tickets to his show at the Wild Knight that night (for only 10 bucks!). Get YOUR tickets HERE

The same 20-year old Swedish phenom who brought us heavy hitters like ‘Nillionaire’ and ‘Calling’ (not to mention a handful of earth-shattering remixes) ALESSO drops his newest release – ‘Raise Your Head’…I’d like to see anyone argue with the fact that this guy is a BEAST after pressing play.
